Bracket of Four: Played as a single group of four teams in a round robin format, with the two teams accumulating the most points advancing to the final.

 

Bracket of Five: Played as a single group of five teams with all teams playing each other once. The team accumulating the most points will be announced as the Champion. The team accumulating the second most amount of points will be announced as the Runner up.

 

Bracket of Six: One group of six with seeds 1 and 2 advancing to final. Every effort will made to seed the teams based on tournament application information and level of play research. It is possible that the finalists could have played each other already. 

 

1) Played as two groups of four. The winner of each round robin group will play a final game to determine the Champion and Runner Up.

 

2) When a bracket of eight has four out of area teams and four local teams a format may be used whereby the four local teams are placed in “Flight A” and the four out of area teams placed in “Flight B”. All three preliminary games would then be crossover games (teams in Flight A play teams in Flight B only) therefore providing fresh competition. Advancement to the final is granted to the two top seeds rather than the flight winners.

 

Bracket of Twelve: Played as three groups of four. The winner of each round robin group and a wildcard (best second place team over the three brackets) will advance to the semi finals. In the event the wildcard team advances from Group "A" they would have already played the winners of the group and therefore the semi final opponents will be as follows;

Winner Group C vs. Winner Group A

Winner Group B vs. Wildcard

This will be used to ensure fresh competition for the semi finals. The winners of the semi final will advance to the championship game.

 

Bracket of Sixteen: Played as four groups of four. The winner of each round robin group advances to the semi final with the winner of the semi finals advancing to the championship game.
