The Weston Invitational will be taking on an international flavor this February as six teams from Brazil, a team from Nigeria and one team from South Africa have applied.

 

This represents not only an incredible opportunity for teams to meet international competition but also for our own membership as we will be looking to home stay the six Brazilian teams.

 

The samba boys will arrive in Weston on Friday February 15^th having spent some time in Tampa and Orlando at a FUTSAL tournament and visiting Mickey.

 

At our tournament they will play in the following age groups; U11, U12, U13, U15, U16 and U18. They are from a private catholic school in Florianopolis –Educandario Imaculada Conceicao, by sheer coincidence our girl’s director Aguinaldo “Gui Gui” Ferreira is from Florianopolis. We are seeking 40 families to take advantage of this and will work on a first come first serve basis. In mid January we will be looking to host a meeting that will allow families to have any questions they may have answered. The boys will ideally be placed in pairs or greater and most of them speak reasonable English, some Spanish and of course fluent Portuguese

 

The dates of the home stay are February --Friday 15^th, Saturday 16^th, Sunday 17^th, Monday 18^th, and they will depart the morning of Tuesday 19^th.
