Weston FC U14 Boys Premier team traveled to Sanford, Florida to compete in US Club Soccer's Florida Cup Final Four Tournament March 13th and 14th. The team qualified for this tournament by winning the Premier Division Championship at Florida Cup South back in September.
The semi-final game was played against Jacksonville Fury, and Weston's boys emerged with a convincing 4-0 victory. They played FC America in Sunday's final, which proved to be a tougher match. The 0-0 game went on to overtime, and then penalty kicks, where Weston finally attained their champion status. Congratulations, Coach Leo Vega and the U14 Boys!! Next stop... US Club National Cup Regionals in May!
