The Weston FC U9 Barcelona girls have an impeccable record and thirstfor extreme competition!  They opened theseason with the Miami Mega Cup where they advanced to the semi-finals. With no losses in FLUGSA leagueplay, the girls were looking for more competition and stepped up to play in theU10 bracket for the Orange Classic. The team played very organized soccer andwithout a single loss emerged as the bracket leaders, outscoring their opponents12-2 in three matches.  The Barcelonagirls advanced to the finals and found the championship game to be a very toughmatch against Miami Springs, but staying composed underpressure, defeated them for the victory. A special thank you to guestplayer, Julia Huchler, who played phenomenally in the goal. “All of these littlesoccer superstars are eager to try their skills and absolutely love to be outon the soccer field,”  said Coach PattiBarney.  “It is great to be part of theWeston FC player development program (PDP) and watch these girls perform.”
