A tiered structure will remain in place for the 2007-08 registration fees. With only one increase in our registration fees since the 2003-04 season continued increases in referee fees, state cup fees, uniform costs, the Clubs continuing efforts to use only top quality licensed coaches as well as adding our fitness training program to the U11 and U12 age groups we have been forced to raise the fees for the 2007-08 season. In addition, the Club will be employing an academy director to work with boys and girls U9 through U11 age groups. Our aim is to further enhance our efforts toward the foundation of our program and its future. As stated our U11 and U12 player will also have fitness training as part of their programming at specific periods during the year. The infrastructure of our club continues to be strong and improve and we will continue to strive to make the Weston Fury Soccer Club a program leader in south Florida and beyond.
The fees for the 2007/08 seasonal year are as follows:
U9-10 $600
U11-12 $750
U13-18 Region Cup Teams $800
U13-U18 State Cup Teams $850
In the event a team’s progress means they will move from region cup status to a state cup team the members of this team will be required to pay the additional $50 prior to state cup entry being submitted. All U13 and older Premier teams are considered state cup teams.
Even though, per player costs continue to exceed the registration fee, we are able to offer this significant value due to the outstanding fundraising efforts of the Club over the past two years and the anticipated fundraising efforts we have planned for next year. Since continued fundraising and sponsorships are a necessity to be able to provide this type of program, we are maintaining our existing fundraising program.
Player Registration Fees- These fees are all inclusive, and entail:
*2 complete premium quality Nike uniforms – 2 jerseys, 2 shorts and 2 pairs of socks.
*Team Coaching Fees including Goalkeeping and Fitness Training
*Training top
*Field Usage Fees
*Florida Youth Soccer Association Fees
*League Fees
*Season Referees Fees, including Region or State Cup
*Region or State Cup Fees
*Excess Insurance
Please note that there are no separate training fees to be paid by the players. Again, based on the quality of our facilities and coaching, this is an outstanding value, one which can only be made possible through our continued commitment to fundraising.
Fundraising Program
At registration you will be required to pay a $50 per player refundable deposit to ensure satisfaction of each team’s fundraising obligations. Although the team fundraising obligations are rather modest, they are an absolute necessity to be able to continue the high quality programs in the Weston Soccer Club.
Essentially this is a continuation of the clubs successful fundraising program from the past two seasons.
To summarize, the 2007/08 season has been an exciting year for the Club with rewarding results. In our two years as a Nike Premier Club we have won 7 Region A Cup and 3 Presidents Cups. In 2006-07 State Cup our Club had more teams advance to the Round of 16 than any other Club in the State hopefully we will be as successful this year in state cup! We continue to recruit additional qualified coaches to our Club and educate our existing staff and improve our programming. Other highlights from the 2006-07 year will be discussed in an upcoming newsletter. These accomplishments as well as the future development of our Club as the Premier Club in Florida will be through the efforts of you and the others that support our program.
