The WFSC 2006-07 Golf Tournament proved to be a great deal of fun for many golfers teeing it up and having a blast at the Bonaventure Country Club.
The event had prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed teams along with four hole in one contests- alas no one took home the $10,000 cash prize, however nearest the pin, longest drive and 50/50 cash draw and contest where all hotly contested for and we congratulate the winners.
The Carolina Ale House provided complimentary snacks and refreshments for players when they where warming up on the range and at the 1st and 10th holes.
The key to these fund raising events for the club are the team of volunteers who give their time for the program. For that we offer our thanks as we can not do it with you.
The day ran extremely smoothly and speaial thanks go to our staff and volunteers such as Janet Fernandez, Suzanne Moody, Mary Baker, Nancy Bute and Sue Wagner.
The silent auction was very well received and special thanks go to Jerry Willenborg who led the evening and to all our sponsors.
We look forward to seeing everyone again at our next golf tournament which is currently being scheduled for the fall, a Friday in early November looks likely.
