The Future Stars program has facilitated sound technique in players from ages 4-12 years through fun planned sessions guided by professional staff and talented teen volunteers since 2007. Throughout it's evolution, this has truly been a successful program in creating a fun atmosphere with an appropriate level of competition developing technically-sound young soccer players. Instilling confidence through lessons of leadership, effort, and good sportsmanship has helped to bring out the best in the entire community for players, parents, teens, and coaches alike. Many teen volunteers earned service hours for school and demonstrated good role modeling for the young Stars along with learning coaching techniques and inspiring the players with their knowledge, experience, and ability. The Stars players will always remember and appreciate the time these teens dedicated to them. Thank you to all involved in this wonderful experience. We now look forward to integrating programs with our local AYSO chapter to broaden the base of early soccer program development. Look for pictures of the new Junior Academy in the coming months for the Fall 2009 season.
