The Weston FC U-11 Boys Nike team participated in their first tournament of the season after only having six practices. The boys performed well, winning their first two games 8-0 against Pinecrest Gray and 2-1 against South Miami United. The next two games, including the Final against the Pinecrest White team, were hard fought battles decided in the final minutes. The team played well, out possessing all of their opponents and having more shots on goal. It was a great experience for the team and a great start to the season! Coach Sergio Laos told the team, "We learned a lot from this tournament. We now know what we need to work on, which will help our team get better".
