Fury U14 Boys Nike Champions at the Rush Nike Champions Cup
May 2-3, 2009
The U14 Boys Nike team visited Central Florida and returned home wearing championship medals around their necks and enthusiastic about the great experience. The boys coached in Apopka by Andres Bolivar performed excellently in all aspects; technical, physical, mental, self motivation, and team work. Most importantly they showed great heart in every game, providing a great spectacle of soccer
They made a mistake in the first game and lost 1-0, but after a small adjustment, the next three games were victories; 3-2, 8-0 and the last game 1-0 against Sunrise. The group of kids who were chosen at tryouts last year became a strong Soccer Team of young men. Everyone appreciates the importance of each other and their trust in one another, that’s the key to their success and also reflects the fantastic job of the coach. It was such a great moment see “Cesar” back on the field after almost a year, due to his surgery, and Fernando finally as part of the Team. Now it’s time to move forward to the next level.
Congratulations Team, keep on this way, We are so proud of you guys!!!! Says: Assistant Coach Gustavo Martinez

Fury U14 Boys Nike Win Championship at the USSSA Southeast Regional Tournament
January 25-26, 2009
The Weston Fury U14 Boys Nike team returned home with gold medals around their necks after competing in the USSSA Southeast Regional Tournament. Winning the tournament, held in Ocala, FL, the weekend of January 24-25, qualified the team to attend the National championships to be held in Las Vegas, NV in December 2009.
It was an exciting weekend for the boys. Coached by Andres Bolivar, they started off on Saturday morning against the team from Flagler Beach, beating them easily 3-1. Their next game was not so easy and ended in a 0-0 draw against the East Ridge Express from Tennessee, Sunday morning the boys came back strong and beat the Bonita Springs Storm 1-0 in a hard-fought game. The Fury played with great determination and came out victorious against the previously undefeated Storm. With two wins and a draw, the Fury finished first in group play and qualified for the finals.
The championship game matched the Fury against the Vero Beach Stealth. The Fury scored twice in the first half, giving them a comfortable lead. The Stealth came back after the break and scored, bringing the game closer at 2-1. But, the Fury, with an impressive display of the foot skills and passing ability that they had shown all weekend, came through with another goal, sealing the victory at 3-1.
Throughout the tournament, the defense held the opposition to two goals, while the offense kept hammering the ball at the net. The team’s success was a shared effort with everyone contributing to the victory. Coach Andres named Juancho Benedetty as the tournament MVP. The Fury is looking forward to attending the upcoming National Championships in Las Vegas Nevada.
Coach Andres said: “This is by far the best tournament this team has played with great skills and team work like I have never seen before and I am very proud of this group of kids and look forward to watching this U14 Boys Team play at the USSSA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP IN LAS VEGAS NEVADA.

Fury U14 Boys Nike - Champions at Plantation Thanksgiving Classic
November 28-30, 2008
The team arrived at Plantation motivated with one focus, one goal; to win the Tournament. They started playing against Miami Springs on Friday showing good skill, playing aggressively attacking the opposing goal, showing a strong defense, and scoring 2-0 in the first 10 minutes. Saturday morning, Weston Wild started with determination trying to bite at our guys but again, with the same system, skills, determination, and intelligence our guys beat them 3-0. That was a “key game” for our kids. They understood that trusting each other and with excellent teamwork our group would be invincible and they just waited till the afternoon. The next game was against Boynton Beach, a strong Team in front of us but Weston Fury performed the best game of the year on every yard of the field. Defenders, midfielders, and forwards did the best and scored 2-0 the first half. The second half was intensive; Boynton came back with power and tied the game 5 minutes before the end. Each player on “The Team” showed their strongest face and they scored two minutes after with the explosion of the Fans and parents. Everybody knew the game was over even when we played three more minutes until the end. This is how the team arrived to the final.
Sunday Morning, with a wonderful International presentation of Teams and Referees. Once again The Team showed up. They started playing like every other game in the tournament with excellent teamwork and controlled the game from start to finish on the entire field. 2-1 Final score, Champions! “We became a Team”.
Congratulations Boys, there will be more celebrations ahead!!! Says : Assistant Coach Gustavo Martinez

Weston Fury U-13 Boys Nike - North Collier Spring Classic Champions
May 3-4, 2008
The Weston Fury U-13 Boys Nike team played at the Naples tournament showing their great skills and showing spectators how good this team is, and how good Weston Fury teams are.
Their first game, the U-13 boys played Brandon but by their lack of commitment Weston won with a score of (4-0). By the afternoon game the U-13 boys were ready to show the North Port team that Weston was here to take everything home by showing their skills and team work and beating North Port (5-0).Finishing their first day of games with great scores, Weston came back on Sunday prepared to face the Naples team, the home team playing at home, which is always a plus when playing tournaments, but Weston Fury U-13 Boys Nike was ready for any opponents, who came their way.Knowing that Naples also won their first 2 games, and being in the same bracket as Weston Fury, the winner of this game (Weston versus Naples )was the team who was going to the finals, so Weston decided to play their best game so far and that’s what they did, showing Naples who was the best and Weston came out with a victory of (5-0).By the final game, Weston had very high confidence and The Bonita Storm team gave Weston a good fight but at the end Weston accomplished their ultimate goal and won (2-0).
Congratulations for a great tournament , GO FURY!!
