The U10 Boys InterMilan team entered the 2009 Naples Sharks Shootout Oct 10-11 and emerged the Gold Division Champions.  This tournament was the first for this new team and the boys were anxious to take to the field together.  Under the leadership of Coach Robert Hedge and Assistant Coach Pedro Hermida, the teams’ skills and tactical training were put to the test and their hard work paid off.  They successfully dominated their opponents, Bonita Springs “Storm”, N. Fort Meyers Knights, Naples Academy “Red”, & Naples Academy “White” by wide margins.  The coaches were very pleased with the boys’ outstanding performance and well executed plays.  It was a great start to a promising 09/10 season.
