Playing in the U-11 division, the Weston FC U-10 Boys started with a 5-1 win against Florida Soccer Alliance (FSA) U-11. This was followed with a closely contested 1-1 tie with Clay County Rangers U-11. Needing a win to advance to the final, the boys won 2-1 against Central Florida United (CFU) U-11, storming back to score two goals in the second half after overcoming a first half deficit, to finish at the top of the group. The final was a rematch of Weston and CFU In the final. The Weston FC Barcelona boys immediately took control of the game leading 2-0 at halftime. A third goal shortly after the second half started allowed the Weston FC boys to outlast the CFU team, who replied with two late goals, for a 3-2 victory. Congratulations to the boys for a successful weekend.

 

Facing frigid, winter-like conditions, Weston FC U10 Boys InterMilan had a weekend of wins, giving them the opportunity to play in the Championship game this past weekend at the Wellington Wave Shootout.  With Coach Hedge and Coach Hermida, the team defeated both Plantation Copa and Brevard United, allowing the InterMilan team to face our club’s own U10 Boys Barcelona team in the Championship game on Sunday. The boys finished the tournament in second place, just behind Barcelona. Congratulations to both of our Weston FC teams.

 

It was a weekend to remember! The first round was tough. The Weston FC U10 Boys Total 90 beat the PBG Predators 4-3 and then tied the Hollywood Wildcats 2-2 under harsh weather conditions.  The team needed to win their final game to qualify for the championship round. The team came together and put on one of their best performances, beating Jupiter Sting 4-0.  The players were so focused and confident and they knew they were going to win. Wellington put up a great fight, but the Weston FC Boys Total 90 was the better team, winning the championship 4-2.  

 

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE WESTON FC U10 BOYS TOTAL 90 TEAM ON THEIR AMAZING  EFFORT!

The Weston FC U-10 Boys started with a win against Pinecrest U-10.  This was followed with a closely contested win against Plantation Eagles FC 99 Copa U-10.  Finally, a win against PBSA Nomads U-10 ensured that the Weston FC U-10 Boys won their bracket and advanced to the title game.  In the final, the Weston FC Barcelona Boys met the Weston FC InterMilan U-10 Boys.  The Barcelona team eventually won a clean, hard fought game.  Congratulations to both the Weston Barcelona and InterMilan U-10 Boys teams.
