The Fury held camps over the summer and over 300 soccer fanatics attended over the four weeks. The highlight of the summer was when Nike, brought Joga Bonito to the players and they played for the love of the game. Campers came from every where again this year, including Naples, Miami, West Palm Beach, but they where just local compared to our international visitors from Venezuela, Columbia and Brazil.
The staff providing the fun and games where Carlos Parra, USSF A License, Gui Gui Ferreira, Leo Vega and Alan Foy USSF B License therefore the level of instruction was high. “The first two weeks of camp saw a great deal of kids come to prepare themselves for tryouts so we made sure they where placed in a competitive environment, while always making sure that the traditional camper was catered for. Our camp curriculum is based around kids playing and having fun and looking at the smiles we achieved just that” Said Alan Foy Fury Camp Director.
The 300+ kids received a ball, t-shirt and a week of camp for $110 and close to 50% of the participants returned for more than week and took advantage of the discount program.
