Weston FC Technical Staff - Boys
Under the direction of Technical Director Carlos Parra, Director of Boys Development Victor Pastora and Boys Program Director Leo Vega, Weston FC is proud to have assembled an elite group of coaches comprising the Boys coaching staff. This technical team has experience at the Olympic, Professional, NCAA, Regional ODP and State level. The WFC staff includes coaches who hold their USSF "A", "B", "C", & "D" National Licenses, State D & E Licenses, National Youth Licenses, and many others who have been being awarded the NSCAA Advanced National Diploma. Under the direction of our Program Directors, our coaches enable WFC teams to compete in Premier Divisions in SFU, State Leagues, Region Leagues, and in nationally recognized tournaments through out the country. These include Atlanta Cup, CASL Shootout and Showcase, Jefferson Cup, Las Vegas Showcase, Manchester Cup, and Texas Shootout. Our male athletes are strongly encouraged to participate in ODP and ID2, as the club looks to expand their soccer experiences. As our players and families make decisions that will affect the rest of their lives, our aim is to utilize the extensive knowledge and insight our staff possesses to assist players with their future decisions. Providing continuing education for players and parents is fundamental to the Club’s programming.

Carlos Parra – Technical Director
As the Technical Director for the Weston FC Premier Program, Carlos Parra is responsible for setting the technical direction for the Premier coaching staff across the Girls and Boys Programs. Carlos’ extensive playing experience, coupled with his coaching experience and certifications make Carlos a great asset to our club. Coach Carlos is fluent in English and Spanish. Marcelo Neveleff – Director of US Development Academy

Ivan Alarcon - Head Coach
Ivan joined Weston FC in 2007. He has coached at various youth levels and continues to expand his coaching experience. Ivan brings playing experience at both the youth and collegiate level. Richard Chang - Head Coach
Coach Richard was born and raised in Jamaica. Here he developed the fundamentals to play the game of futbol. He played on his high school team, as well as a club team. At eighteen, he moved to the United States where he played while serving in the U.S. Air Force. He also played in the Gold Coast league for a number of years. Coach Richard currently holds a USSF National “C” license. He started coaching in 1997 and has been coaching both boys and girls, at various ages, in several different clubs throughout South Florida. He has taken teams to both Region and State Cup tournaments and was successful at winning the Region “A” Cup championship. He has also been a personal trainer for individuals and groups of various ages, which include players from the high school as well as collegiate level. Coach Richard possesses a Masters degree in Human Resource Management and has several years of experience as a training & development manager in corporate America. With his professional background in training & development, coupled with his coaching and playing experiences, Coach Richard feels very fortunate to be doing something he loves: Working with players and fellow coaches in developing players to the next level. Brandon Collins - Head Coach
Brandon joined Weston FC as a coach in 2008. He has been a serious student of the game all of his life, having grown up playing in the South Florida area. Brandon graduated from nationally ranked Carson Newman College where he made two consecutive NCAA championship appearances and earned his Sports Management degree. After returning to South Florida, he began his coaching career at Archbishop McCarthy High School where he currently coaches both the Varsity and JV Boys soccer teams. Robert Hedge - Head Coach
Robert joined Weston FC in 2007. He has been coaching for the several years at the recreational and club level. Hedge grew up playing soccer and is now a student of the game, always looking to continue his coaching education. For the 2009 season, Coach Robert coached the U10 Nike and U11 Swoosh teams. Sergio has joined Weston FC in 2011. Coach Laos has over ten years of coaching experience with various soccer clubs in the Atlanta and South Florida areas. He has been playing soccer since his youth living in Peru and has always been a student of the game. Sergio holds a USSF National “C” Coaching license, a NSCAA Goalkeeping license and has attended various specialty youth courses. Past accomplishments include several Championship and Finalist Titles at the Atlanta Fire Classic, Plantation Thanksgiving Day Classic, and Disney’s President Day Soccer Festival to name a few. Andres re-joined Weston FC in June 2010. He holds his USSF National "D" License, and USSF National Youth License. and as a young player competed to at the State Cup level. Luna is a student of the game. He has been coaching in several clubs in Ft. Myers, Naples, Tampa and Texas. Andres is also a USSF certified referee.

Pedro Magallanes - Trainer
Pedro is recognized as one of the area’s top motivators of aspiring young soccer players. He rejoined Weston FC in 2009. Pedro played in the 1st Division Professional League for 15 years. He also played for Argentinos Junior’s Soccer Club from 1980 – 1981 with International Super Star Diego Maradona and played for the Argentina National Team in 1984. Pedro was a player and coach for the Ft. Lauderdale Strikers from 1989-1992, including during their Championship Season. He was also a player and assistant coach for the Miami Fusion in 1997. Pedro has participated in many soccer clinics with coaches like Thomas Rongen, “Nene” Cubillas, and Carlos “Pibe” Valderrama. He has also been a trainer for the N.C. Fredy Merico - Head Coach
Fredy has been coaching for over 12 years and the last 3 years with Weston FC. He earned his "E " coaching license and attended several specialty courses. He played competitive soccer for over 12 years in St Louis, MO and played varsity soccer in Washington University, where he graduated with an MBA in international business. fredymerico@msn.com

Coach Musa has over 11 Years of Coaching experience from U 11 to U18 Boys teams. This includes: (2009-Present) Assistant Coach for Broward College Men’s Team, - Coaching Staff for US Developmental Academy U-17/18 Boys, -Coaching Staff for the Pre –Academy U-14/15 for Weston FC, -Coach for U-18 Boys Premier State Cup team at Weston FC. (2007-2009) Coach for U-16 & U-17 Boys at Sunrise SC Soccer Club, (2003-2007) Coach at South Florida Soccer 4-Kids Academy and many others. As a player, Coach Musa has professional experience as a member of the Ft. Lauderdale Strikers (USISL 1995- 1997), Florida Stars ( USISL 1995-1996), Topez FC , Haitian Semi –Pro League (1991-1995), Haitian National All Star Team, which played throughout the US Territory & Caribbean (1991-1995), Trained with Stade de Reims , in Reims, France , Division II (1989 ).

Sergio Pereyra - Head Coach
Sergio joined Weston FC in 2008 and has vast experience in Latin American Soccer. He has played for Belgrado de Cordoba’s first team in Argentina from 1974 to 1977. In 1978 they were the Argentinian Champions. From 1978 to 1984, Sergio played for the first division General Paz Junior. In 1984-1985 and 1987 his team won the CNI Iquitos, Peruvian Championship. Sergio played for Club Correcaminos Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas, Mexico in 1988, Alianza del Salvador in San Salvador in 1989, Deportivo del Monte, Guatemala in 1990, Audaz Obtubrino Machala, Ecuador in 1991, and Mannucci de Trujillo, Club Carlos A.
