The talent of the Weston Fury Soccer Club U18 Boys is attracting a great deal of interest from schools all over the country. The players and families have been pro-active in investing time and money in making sure the player’s are able to attend the showcase events and by ensuring their profiles are up to date for the watches scouts and it is paying off big time!!

 

From the eligible roster of 17 player’s, more than 70% of the player’s are in the process of evaluating full/partial scholarships offers, finalizing travel arrangements for official visits and/or having ongoing conversations with coaches across the country.

 

Fury 2005-06 season alumni Iker Ibanez has also been assisted and we are proud to announce that he has accepted full soccer scholarship at Nova University, Florida.

 

These efforts have been initiated and supported in no small part by Head Coach Alvin James, Assistant Coach Renee Osorio and WFSC Boys DOC Carlos Parra who have been taking and making calls and speaking with coaches face to face at the events.

 

The player’s continue to represent themselves and Weston very well

as they travel around the country. Coaches, organizers and even parents

from other teams have approached both Alvin and Renee to congratulate their performance on and off the field.
