WESTON, Fl. - Scott Cooper (center) offers a big smile of thanks to Alan Foy, Director of Operations, and Christine Thomas, Executive Assistant, for the Weston FURY Soccer Club. They were extraordinarily supportive of Scott’s campaign to collect used soccer equipment for the charity Soccer-for-Life, and provided an advertising venue, a field collection site, and lots of materials. Scott has collected over 300 soccer items, including balls, cleats, old trophies, jerseys, shorts, etc. from generous fellow soccer players and their families.
Soccer-for-Life distributes these items to South America , where they are used to allow underprivileged children to have a better chance at life as they share in the joy of the world-wide sport of soccer.
