Sunrise, Fl (May 16, 2011) – Weston FC has hired Chris Nolen as its Assistant Director of Girls Coaching and staff coach. Nolen is a former Director of Girls Coaching for the Atlanta Fire, holds a USSF “A” Coaching License, and has coached at the club, high school, college and professional levels. He has been involved with ODP Region camp, Super Y National Camp and the US Soccer Development Academy. He has helped over 100 players continue their playing careers at the college, professional and national team level.
In addition, Weston FC and Sunrise Sting have reached an agreement to work together to lay the foundation for a U.S. Soccer Academy style developmental program for South Florida girls. As part of this program, Chris Nolen will become the Head Coach of the very successful Sunrise Sting 96/97 team.
