The Weston Fury U13 Girls Premier attended the Nike Invitational Friendlies in Richmond, VA. The tourney was held over Labor Day Weekend.

 

The competition was among the toughest in the nation, with leading teams attending, many of them State Champs (including our girls!). Although the first day was a rainout thanks to T.S. Ernesto, the rest of the weekend was a success.

 

On Saturday, the Fury beat the Virginia Rush 3-1. On Sunday, the Fury tied the Richmond Strikers 1-1, and then defeated the PWSI Courage 3-0. Finally, on Monday, the Fury lost a tough battle with Real Colorado 2-1.

 

All in all, a terrific tournament and a true test for the Fury girls. And a true test for the parents, too! Still laughing! Way to go!>
