Marcelo Valdivia – Head Coach Marcelo joined Weston FC staff for the 2011-2012 season as the U17 Premier girls head coach as well as the U12 Nike girls head coach. Marcelo played youth soccer in West Kendall and began his coaching career in Virginia while serving in the US Navy. He coached in Kendall Soccer Coalition since 1995 where he eventually became the Director of the girls program from 2006-2010. He has also coached at the high school level for 6 years and is currently the head coach for varsity boys at Florida Christian. Marcelo is an educator for MDCPS and is currently working on his Masters in Education from University of Florida. He holds a USSF National “C”license, and is a US CLUB SOCCER id2 National scout. Coach Marcelo is fluent in English and Spanish. He can be contacted at maranaluca@bellsouth.net

Weston FC U15 Girls Premier Team took 1st place in the Weston Tournament on February 12-15,2010. Congratulations girls and best of luck with the remainder of your season.

The Weston FC U15 Girls Premier came in second place in the Nike Champions Cup Tournament May 1-2 in Apopka, Florida.
They defeated Brandon 2-0, Georgia Rush (2-0) and Spirit (4-0) to play in the finals with FC America Kumba, a U16 team. They lost to Kumba (3-1).  Great Job girls...keep up the good work.
