2010-11 U13 Girls Roster

Weston FC U13 Girls Premier - Undefeated and Flugsa Playoff Champions
February 13, 2011

Congratulations to the Weston FC U13 Girls Premier team for winning the FLUGSA Playoffs White Division Championship. Weston, playing with only 10 players, defeated Naples in a dramatic finish of the semi-final game. The score at the end of regulation time was 2-2 and remained tied after two 5-minute overtime periods. Weston finished the match victorious when their fifth shooter placed her PK high into the corner of the net.

The championship game between Weston and Cutler Ridge was a battle. This time playing with 11 players (no substitutes), Weston scored in the first half and held off Cutler Ridge's challenges to win the Championship 1-0. 
CONGRATULATIONS to the Weston FC U13 Girls Premier team for finishing undefeated in the FLUGSA Regular Season and for winning the White Division Championship.

 

2010-11 FLUGSA Champions

February 12-13, 2011  

 

 

CONGRATULATIONS to the Weston FC 97/98 Premier U13 Girls for completing a spectacular FLUGSA Season.  Coached by Dale Renwick, the girls had many ups and downs throughout their regular season but found ways to pull together and play as a team and overcome many obstacles finishing undefeated for the season. Many times the team took on opponents with only 11 players and no substitutions, but proving once again Heart and Desire can prevail over Adversity.

2010 Columbus Day Classic

October 9-10, 2010  

 

 

After winning all three group matches 1-0, Weston FC Premier girls could not fight off the Pinecrest Premier team in the Championship game.  The Weston girls played hard this weekend and had a great time.

 

 

 

 

 2010 Wellington Wave Soccer Shootout

January 9-10, 2010

 

Braving the bitter cold and rain, Weston FC U12 Girls Premier team were 3-0-0 while scoring 17 goals and only allowing 4 goals against.  The team took runner up in the Championship game after finishing regulation time tied 1 - 1.  The girls played with amazing tenacity and stamina while the frozen parents cheered from the sideline.

 

 

 2009 Orange Classic International Girls Soccer Tournament 

December 26-30, 2009 

 

 

 

In a highly competitive bracket, the U12 Girls Premier team finished the tournament with 2 wins and one loss (as did two other teams in the bracket).  Although narrowly missing the opportunity to play in the Championship game, the girls played their hearts out in this major year end international tournament.
